Kreate

Q: Why is India an important market in the energy sector for Kreate?

A: Indian market in terms of energy is the third-largest energy generator and consumer in the world after China and USA. Soon India will overtake the EU as the size of the market is large enough.

Q: Why is now the time to tap into the Indian market?

A: The Indian market though the size is big, technology penetration of the energy market is still slow. Big in size and slow penetration it makes sense to tap into the Indian market for technology. Though it will take time as developed markets are somewhere technology is possible. Enablers of technology have grown significantly in the last few years. The enablers are:

i.Increase in share in wind and solar in energy mix

ii.Introduction of smart metering and availability of real-time data through 4G and 5G communicators

iii.Computering strength of the processors has gone up. This is possible to analyse Big Data and process large amount of data

iv. With advent of technology like AI and Blockchain, these can be made available to decision makers for cost optimization, process improvement in the performance parameters.

Q: What are you looking forward to at the event?

A:

i.Learning from players who have harnessed in India and elsewhere.

ii.Discuss and share our learnings with other participants.

Q: What are your plans for the event?

A: We are experts in power market both as a trader and power provider. To showcase some of our learnings and see if there can be a potential partnership with clients, technology partners or implementation partners.
